Bob Flexner Visits WAA

Woodworkers Association Members enjoyed a special treat Friday Night, March 10, 2006 and all day Saturday, March 11, 2006. Nationally know author and craftsman Bob Flexner, of Norman, Oklahoma, presented an in-depth Seminar on Wood Finishing. Bob, who operates a furniture building, repair and refinishing shop in Norman, is also the author of Understanding Wood Finishing, considered as the authoritative reference on this subject, and is a contributing editor to Popular Woodworking Magazine. The Seminar proved to be a very successful, if ambitious effort by WAA, as attendance at the Friday evening session was 52 persons, and 61 attended the all-day Saturday session. 26 new members joined WAA in order to attend this seminar.
